Edward K. Brass

Edward K. Brass has been a criminal defense attorney practicing law throughout Utah since April, 1977. He has handled every sort of criminal case imaginable from misdemeanors through death penalty defense, and has tried several hundred jury trials. He joined Kim Cordova in 2010 to form Brass & Cordova, a comprehensive Salt Lake City criminal defense firm with experience, sophistication, and a true commitment to achieving optimal results for people facing criminal charges.

Over the course of his 35 year legal career, Mr. Brass has tried between 200-300 jury trials in state courts in every county in Utah and in United States District Court, handling cases involving drug offenses, sex offenses, white collar crime, homicides, and numerous other federal and state charges. He has maintained an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the national directory of attorneys, for over 15 years, indicating that his peers rank him at the highest level of professional skill and excellence. Mr. Brass is a past lecturer on criminal defense practice topics before Utah State Bar sanctioned continuing legal education seminars.
